Earlier on this year, after at least a good three years of looking, I finally managed to score a red Minichamps Volvo P1800 1:43 model. It depicts a 1969 version with the straight front bumpers and so on. I’ve been meaning to take a picture of it on 64SAINT, but for some reason didn’t get round to it until today.
I tried placing it on various parts of the car for the picture, but to be honest it was dwarfed by the real thing. So, instead I put it on the dash in front of the oil pressure gauge and the clock. This gives the model a better sense of scale, I think. I just wish I could get that shiny a red on 64SAINT when I wash it…
(To come is a picture of a 1:18 Revell model I also own.)
